The Pousada Alto da Serra is located on the shores of the Paraibuna Dam looking over a beautiful waterfall, in the heart of the Atlantic Rain Forest, at 2,100 feet (700 meters) above sea level just 11 miles (18 kilometers) from the beaches of the State of Sao Paulo North Coast. There are 500 acres (2 million square meters) dedicated to preservation; ecology and tourism that become even more complete with the astonishing show presented by nature.

To get to the Hotel Pousada Alto da Serra, take the Rodovia dos Tamoios SP-99 from São José dos Campos, east, towards the State of São Paulo North Coast. When you get to the Kilometer 67, you should exit north on to the road that goes to Pouso Alto, Bairro Alto and Natividade da Serra. From this point there are only 2 miles (3 kilometers) on a paved and well-signed road to the Pousada.
